We had 5 wonderful days skiing under blue skies. Maison deux coeurs is very convenient for the bus stop to the ski lift. Very warm comfortable and spacious. Would recommend shopping in the Carrfour market, either using your vehicle or local taxi which was excellent. Kitchen is well equipped for home cooking. Plenty of eating places to choose from within walking distance. Hot tub was enjoyed by those brave enough to venture outside in swimwear! A beautiful place to be at the beginning of January. We all had a wonderful week. Thank you. Roger and Carol

We spent a wonderful week holiday in a small mountain village ideally situated close to shops and ski lifts The cottage is very well equipped, lacks nothing, even the bar is full! If you like walking , a small river passes near the cottage that you can follow to make walk to the village center. We were fortunate to have snow and bright sunshine throughout our stay, the children enjoyed the family holiday we keep a very good memory. Thank you to David and Sue for their hospitality and kindness

A great chalet in a very good location. Good skiiing (even though the weather messed it up a bit).

Dear David, Thank you for hosting us last week in Samoens. The chalet is lovely - very comfortable and well-equipped, and so well positioned to walk into Samoens village which is incredibly picturesque and provided everything that we needed. For a novice, the powdery snow was perfect and I am so proud that I was able to ski down the mountain! The ZigZag tutor was excellent for our first lesson, and thank you for your patience on day 2!

David We had a great time in Samoens skiing made extra special by staying in your lovely chalet. It was so convenient to the Ski bus and we even walked back some afternoons stopping at the Sherpa (supermarket) for a few groceries etc. There were 11 of us and it was never cramped (5 couples and me). The 2 lounge areas were handy as it ended up with the 'older' persons at one end reading or dozing and the other end was used by the 'younger' members playing games and having a quiet drink. The hot tub was absolutely lovely and warmed the bones and helped with the aches and pains and the views of the mountains were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and enabled us to have a 'Come Dine With Me' competition with a different couple cooking each night. The only thing we missed was an electric hand whisk to beat the eggs for a pavlova. The chalet was very warm and we certainly chilled out after a hard days skiing. We love the Grand Massif range and hope to return and would certainly stay at Deux Coeurs again.
